Sarah is a postgraduate student in sociology at the University of Glasgow. Her research broadly focuses on social theory and the link between mess, emotionality, and the scientific method. Sarah will be undertaking her Ph.D. research at Goldsmiths College, examining the relationship between writing practices of social theorists and sociological knowledge production. Sarah is also Co-Convenor of the British Sociological Association Postgraduate Forum, a reviewer for the LSE Review of Books and the writer of “The Accidental Sociologist” column on the Sociological Imagination website.
