Vicki Adams is an English Literature PhD Researcher based in Canterbury, Kent, studying the impact of typewriters, letterpress and other print technology on texts written between 1890 and 1940. As well as writing about rusty old machinery for her thesis, Vicki loves to rescue and restore it, and can be found blogging about this at http://frostinmay.wordpress.com and tweeting as @kentpterodactyl. In her spare time Vicki loves hanging out with her cat Virginia, poking through dusty antique shops for treasures, or planning her dream ‘Steam Train wedding’ which will take place in 2015 (nicely avoiding her viva voce).
